Fields of application

Self-tapping screw hexagon socket cylinder head are mainly used to secure sheet metal, metal profiles and parts.
The mechanical industry is therefore the main area of application, but they can also be used for plastic materials, specific woodworks, and fixing aluminium frames.

The self-tapping tip makes fixing and tightening these screws much easier. They are installed with an electric screwdriver, without the need for any tapping operations. It is still advisable to pre-drill a hole with a slightly narrower diameter than that of the thread, in order to facilitate their screwing.
