Galvanic treatments<\/div>\n

Ambrovit, besides guaranteeing prompt delivery of over 12 000 products<\/strong>, offers a generous selection of finishes<\/strong> and galvanic treatments<\/strong>. Each product, made using special steels, undergoes further zinc treatments which make it more or less resistant. The zinc Cr3 galvanic treatments<\/strong> differ either in terms of resistance or in terms of the thickness of microns (\u00b5m) which constitute the product.<\/p>\n

Currently available in three types of thickness in terms of microns (3\u00b5m, 5\u00b5m, 8\u00b5m) with varying degrees of resistance in terms of hours (24 hours, 36 hours, 72 hours, 120 hours and, on demand, 400 hours).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Screws<\/strong> and bolts<\/strong> with these properties are suitable for use in urban and industrial settings with modest levels of sulphur dioxide pollution and in coastal areas with modern levels of salinity. These treatmetns have long been aligned with the European RoHS Directive 2011\/65\/EC “RoHS”<\/strong> (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive).<\/p>\n

They are also compliant with standards regarding the use of harmful and therefore dangerous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), in order to contribute to their correct recovery and disposal. For this reason Ambrovit has long since stocked its own warehouses with products with Zinc Cr3 finish, Hexavalent Chromium free<\/u><\/strong><\/a>. There are three types of zinc in the catalogue: yellow, white and black.<\/p>\n

Special treatments<\/div>\n

To complete its already ample range of zinc galvanic treatments<\/strong> and aesthetics<\/strong>, for some time Ambrovit<\/strong> has been commercialising products made using special treatments<\/strong>. These are items with a high resistance to corrosion in the more aggressive environments. The properties of these special three-layer non-organic coatings<\/strong> also guarantee very high level performance and a longer service life.<\/p>\n

These finishes are certified and guaranteed to resist for up to 1000 hours as per the ISO 9227 standard. They also satisfy the specifications stipulated in the ISO 9223 standard, attaining the level of Class C4.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The various colours available in the catalogue give the product unique properties making it suitable for use with different wood types and allowing it to blend in excellently with the aesthetics of the wood.<\/p>\n
